The newly-restored Town Hall in King’s Cross has become London's place to be seen, after welcoming Prada Mode, in collaboration with pioneering artists Elmgreen & Dragset.

Prada's cultural salon and the newly renovated landmark formed the perfect synergy, as cultural hubs for innovation, community, and big ideas.

Operating as an invitation-only experience on 15 and 16 October - a precursor to Town Hall launching its own membership society in the new year - and open to the public from 17 to 19 October, Prada Mode's centrepiece was The Audience, an immersive installation featuring hyper-realistic sculptures in an opulent cinema within one of London’s biggest event spaces.

The blurred cinema screen drew the viewer’s attention to the audience, setting the scene for the five-day experience, which explored the concept of spectatorship.

The 13th edition of Prada Mode coincided with Frieze, and took over the historic landmark for a packed series of events, talks, performances, installations and DJ sets, exploring “The Audience" in an age of image overload, hyperconnectivity, and attention deficit.

Under the stewardship of Bottaccio - the renowned international hospitality and cultural events group - Town Hall has been lovingly restored over the past 10 years to revive the Neo-Classical landmark in the heart of London’s creative and technological renaissance.

Globally recognised for producing events for the British Royal Family, Apple, Chanel, Formula 1 and more, Bottaccio brings decades of excellence in elevating historic venues.

The groundbreaking refurbishment of the Grade II listed building has been a passion project for Town Hall's Managing Partners Emilie Edberg and Joseph D'Anna alongside renowned British designer Tom Dixon and his Design Research Studio, reimagining it for a new generation of thinkers and doers.

The elegant marble columns and bespoke, sculpted pewter staircase of the meticulously designed Inner Space, played home to Prada Mode's luxury dining experience, after parties, DJ sets and talks.

Town Hall has positioned itself as the capital’s most exciting new cultural hub for art, fashion, design, technology and performance, and some of London’s biggest multidisciplinary events, from London Fashion Week and Cynthia Erivo talks to the recent AI Summit attended by Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

For nearly 90 years, Town Hall has been a living stage for creativity and change, from hosting the first Caribbean Festival in 1959 to Civil Right rallies and forgotten operas and punk protest.

The next chapter for this globally significant building brings a radical new cultural programme built on five foundations: Culture, Innovation, Impact, Community and Big Ideas to the 60,000 square foot Town Hall, which has been boldly re-interpreted as a space where art, ideas, innovation and community converge.
